About
Welcome to the website of Marjon Wiendels. I am a Dutch writer and IT professional. I have published two books about neurodivergence and psychological insecurity at work, in 2020 and in 2025. My stories are about people who don’t get things handed to them on a silver platter. They are comforting and funny, but also have a certain sadness.
I have lived in Utrecht for decades. I am a political scientist, a certified Scrum MasterĀ®, and I have over thirty years of experience as an IT professional in various industries.
For years, I was an organizer at Girl Geek Dinner Netherlands, a networking organization for women in technology. After that, I became active on Wikipedia. Since 2025, I have been working at Beeld en Geluid on enriching data in the field of media.
I love obscure music, sitting in a corner with a book, and I am a real media junkie. I enjoy writing about art, culture, music, minimalism, autism, trauma, IT (particularly data and open source), Wikipedia, and Personal Knowledge Management (PKM). The short pieces end up on Nostr and the longer ones end up here. Stay up to date automatically with a subscription to my Substack newsletter or to the RSS feed of this site.
You can leave your comment below or contact me via Nostr, Bluesky, LinkedIn or mail. For Libiry, there’s also a subreddit.
Have fun!
